David Crosby, the iconic musician, died at the age of 81, according to Variety. Crosby was recognized for helping to build two of the 1960s’ most influential bands, The Byrds and Crosby, Stills & Nash.
Crosby’s wife, Jan Dance, stated the musician’s death. “After a long illness, we discovered with great grief that our darling David (Croz) Crosby had passed away,” she said. Jan, his soul partner, and their son Django were ecstatically around him. “Even though he is no longer with us, his humanism and kindness will continue to inspire us.”
