Quinn Redeker, a prominent serial opera star on “Days of Our Lives,” died at 86.
Redeker died on December 20th in Los Angeles from causes unrelated to his illness. According to Deadline, his family informed the public of his death.
Between 1979 through 1987, the actor appeared on “Days of Our Lives” as Alex Marshall, a shady character who was eventually sentenced to prison for insurance fraud on the show.
Redeker’s other roles include Rex Sterling on the daytime serial opera “The Young and the Restless,” which he played from 1987 until 1994. Before taking on the role of Sterling, he had recurring appearances as two other characters in the series.
