Shakira’s Latest Single Is a Major Diss to Gerard Pique and His New Girlfriend

Shakira has a new song and it seems to have been inspired by her ex, football player Gerard Pique, though not in the way he would have wanted.

The 45-year-old Colombian singer collaborated with Argentine DJ Bizarrap on the single titled BZRP Music Sessions #53, which has some really telling lyrics.

It Appears To Throw Shade At Pique

The song throws shade at an ex-lover and his new girlfriend, and the details hit dangerously close to home. Translated from Spanish, it begins with “Sorry, I’ve already caught another plane,” seemingly referencing her move from Barcelona to Miami with her and Pique’s two sons, Sasha and Milan.
