Pat Boone, a singer, declares, “This is it,” as he leaves the Coach House stage on Saturday. His final performance will be in Southern California, not far from the area where he has lived for more than 60 years.
Boone recently told a Florida caller that his father used to say, “I mean, I won’t promise anything except I won’t promise anything,” about a recent conversation.
He stated, “As sure as your word, you make a promise, and then you can’t keep it.”
