Ron DeSantis’s political journey has gone straight upward. The Jacksonville, Florida native had politics in his blood from the beginning. A graduate of Harvard Law School, DeSantis went on to work in the army, and after working as a lawyer, he took his first significant step on the national level in 2012 when he was sworn into Congress.
