David McCallum was born in Glasgow, Scotland, on September 19, 1933. His mother, Dorothy, was a cellist, and his father, David Sr., was a violinist for the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
One may claim that the stars predetermined David’s future admission into his parents’ field. As a child, he began playing the oboe, which marked the beginning of this transformation.
“I’m six or seven years old, and [my father] chooses my career,” McCallum observed.
