Jamie Lee Curtis has won her first Academy Award, surpassing her movie star parents, who were both nominated.
The Oscar winner for best actress in a supporting role went to the renowned progeny of “Psycho” star Janet Leigh and “Some Like It Hot” actor Tony Curtis for her lauded performance in “Everything, Everywhere, All at Once.”
Curtis, 64, reminded the world of her Hollywood heritage and the reality that her late parents never made it to the platform during her emotional speech.
