Garth Brooks is one of the world’s most well-known musicians. Even though he could work with many talented musicians, he has stated that his late mother, Colleen Carroll, is the person he misses the most because of the special place she holds in his heart.
Brooks’ musical career was inspired by his mother’s singing career, who had a recording contract with Capitol Records in the 1950s. Her son says that if he could only sing with one person, it would be her, even though she died of cancer in 1999.
