Donald Trump has pleaded not guilty to 34 felony counts of falsifying business documents.

In Manhattan criminal court Tuesday afternoon, former President Donald Trump pleaded not guilty to 34 felony criminal allegations of falsifying company documents.

Authorities claimed in court filings that the former president attempted to undermine the integrity of the 2016 election.

Prosecutors claimed that Trump was part of a criminal conspiracy to suppress unfavorable information, including an illegal payment of $130,000 ordered by the defendant to hide negative material that would harm his campaign.
