Lisa Marie Presley was born on February 1, 1968, in Memphis, Tennessee, to parents Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley. She was one of the most famous children at the time. Tragically, she died on Jan. 12, 2023, at 54, after being rushed to the emergency room after being discovered unresponsive in her California home.
Lisa was born nine months after her parents famously married in a brief ceremony in their suite at Las Vegas’ Aladdin Hotel. Following Elvis’ death in 1977, she was named as a beneficiary in her father’s will, alongside her grandfather Vernon and great-grandmother Minnie. Vernon died in 1979, and Minnie died a year later. As a result, Lisa was the only surviving beneficiary of Elvis’ trust. She inherited her father’s estate, which had grown to $100 million, in 1993.
