“Daddy Doesn’t Pray Anymore” by Chris Stapleton is a melancholy song about a parent’s life and what he goes through every day before passing away. It’s a difficult song to listen to, and enormous props to Chris, who valiantly recorded the song considering his circumstances.
Chris’s debut album, Traveller, was released in May 2015. The album won multiple prizes, including Album of the Year at the CMA prizes, a Grammy nomination, and Best Country Album. It also won the Billboard Music Award for Top Country Album in 2016 and 2017.
