Cher’s mother, Georgia Holt, died over the weekend at the age of 96.
Holt, a singer-songwriter, actress, producer, and model, was perhaps best remembered for her appearances in “The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet” (1955). She also starred in “I Love Lucy” in 1956, as well as “Father’s Little Dividend” and “Lovely to Look At” in the same year.
Holt released her debut album “Honky Tonk Woman” in 2013, which she had initially recorded in the 1980s.
