The Today meteorologist has been rehabilitating at home after two hospital visits due to blood clots during the previous month. Despite this, he chose to stop his recovery from making his final tweet on Twitter, in which he announced his departure from the platform.
Al indicated that he needed to “take a vacation” before allowing his followers to contact him on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. He also stated that this was necessary.
