The internet has been moved by a social media video showing a 14-year-old blue heeler puppy who had spent his entire existence at a breeding factory being adopted by a family.
A family who got into contact with the Australian Animal Protection Society (AAPS), an animal shelter located in Melbourne’s Keysborough neighborhood, decided to rehome Angus the dog after it had been saved from the breeding facility.
An official from the sanctuary told Newsweek that “Angus, or Gus for short, had spent his entire life in a breeding facility before he was finally rescued and transferred to us.”
